Position Summary
The Hydraulic Assembler is responsible for the installation, testing, and optimization of hydraulic systems on RagnarTech’s 9400/9700 Series grinders. This experienced role focuses on pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, filtration systems, and overall hydraulic circuit integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Install hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, hoses, manifolds, cylinders, motors, and filtration assemblies
- Perform hydraulic flushing, leak testing, and pressure verification
- Route and secure hydraulic lines to meet engineering and safety standards
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and work instructions
- Assist with hydraulic system functional testing prior to final quality control
- Troubleshoot hydraulic issues during assembly and commissioning
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve hydraulic build issues and support continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience working with hydraulic systems on heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of open-loop, closed-loop, load-sense, and proportional control systems
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and perform system diagnostics
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with IQAN or other mobile control systems is a plus
